“Rare” Recorded Sermons from Canon Jim Glennon
1 John 1:7, ‘If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with the other. And the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin’.
Disclaimer: If we look at the overall content from Canon Glennon, including his postal congregation topics and other writings, there is no suggestion for people not to follow medical advise or not to take medications. We have seen a number of people able to move away from medications in varying ways, or to review or change those medications, meaning they may or may not be static quantities. Or, we find critical reliance on medications as they are life saving.
There are a small number of people who in avoiding medications, still find they need them with infections or pain. There must be common sense in the approach to medication and surgery. This author would not be here to say hello to you if it were not for both surgery and medications. The question does arise at times if we need to review what we are doing. I recall one specialist supposedly at the top of their field, but in hearing a receptionist at a hospital talking to another patient on the phone, I made an enquiry, and the hospital turned out to know more than the specialist, subsequently helping me in a far better way.
