the Gospel of Jesus Christ
“That Jesus is the Son of God,
That He was born of a virgin,
That He led a sinless life,
That He died an atoning death,
That he was buried and that he rose physically the third day,
And that He is coming back again.”

a christian perspective
Topics and concepts fluctuate between what one group agrees with and another disagrees. This is normal. Differing views can help to produce better outcomes provided they are presented without hostility or arrogance. In other words, they can be healthy. Human nature being what it is, people tend to get angry at times and views can readily become biased with unsubstantiated generalisations.
We cannot, however, ask all people around the entire world not to write down their experiences and views. I have wondered about increasing restrictions of information on the Internet. I suspect in the future – I am not going to spell the words correctly – “oi” will be deployed to categorise and rate content according to how the world accepts or rejects content. This “policy” could make a website hidden or even blocked. I am pretty convinced this will occur with religious content because we discuss things like sin, morality and so forth. The issue however is often context and truth from God’s spiritual realm, rather than a non-Christian artificially defined policy or agenda.
This website is not presenting theological or academic research, rather lay views that will of course vary over time, or even fail to communicate correctly to each audience simply because of the way they are written. We need to be mature about this and give consideration to content that can potentially help us dive deeper into the topics. If something stands out that helps, that is great.
We do believe in the spiritual realm, even to the point that it is embedded into all of creation. In this time or age, we have limited “sight” to these things, so it is comforting that God gave of his Holy Spirit to us through Jesus, for eternity not only as a witness to our salvation and advocate/comforter, but that we are experiencing the spiritual in the right way through Jesus, as opposed to the illegal way where the road is wide that leads to destruction. We in turn have a great witness of people who testify, not as theology, but reality. If someone really blocks, denies, or grieves the Holy Spirit, we ask what is going on? For instance, if someone prefers a “spiritual” experience from a demonic source that appears as light, how is there a place to yield to the Holy Spirit? It cannot happen until the person repents. Is it therefore incorrect to state this on a website? This is the issue we will increasingly face should hostility to God’s life increase. Those not evidencing God’s life would not present such content.
While the Gospel of Jesus Christ is eternally constant, we as a whole go into all sorts of subsequent directions based on many factors and then present our views one way or another. For example with force, defense or reactivity, or peace, calm and wisdom. Our posture varies as widely as we can imagine. In this mix we have genetic, biological, psychological, experiential, intellectual and spiritual responses, as well as beliefs that come from somewhere, knowledge or ignorance to name a few elements. We propose however that we are each unique, complex whole beings. But if we are to remain neutral, we cannot provide any content to consider. While we are not perfect, while we do not see the ins and outs of each person’s life, we still present content to consider as we are not able to be neutral towards everything, or for that matter to please everyone, which is simply impossible. So, the intent is definitely not to cause harm, but rather respect and observation.
Often we see a set of views on statistically popular Christian websites that are then taken to be consensus for what is right and wrong, or the issues at hand. This does not necessarily represent the views of all people, as we cannot say if views are in majority or not. Majority views can distract from the Lord’s words to us. As a belief, it is reasonable to say Jesus knows everything that is going on in the Church, with each individual, and what His aims are. We are at times focused on what we think is a priority when Jesus has something else in mind. His aim is to benefit us through his love, his obedience to the Father, and his power as well as to prepare us to be with Him. These are reasonable statements. But we wish to expand on what this all means and what opens up Christ’s freedom or what hinders it, all the while not stating that we are perfect in doing so.
As an example, some people say they believe in Jesus and the gospel, but appear to lack life-giving words and ministry that should come from a closer day-by-day walk with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. If we do not have that water of life developing within us, we may say how wonderful such a person is due to the way they construct words and ideas, which excites our intellect, or at a less noble level think the person is great because of the way they dress. This is not spiritual so it cannot impart witness to our own spirit. If someone is being refreshed by Jesus Christ in their own journey, they may recognise another person is in their own way beautiful, but they know they see little to no life witnessing to them through the words they say. It is the same principle as the sheep that know the Lord’s voice.
What does this mean? Well, you may discover over time that the person is easily angered, they do not want to talk about your spiritual experiences and shut you down. They may say the Holy Spirit is just a thing they once thought of and are glad that is over. You would not know this unless it is revealed, which confirms the lack of spiritual growth and outward fruits. Instead of the person being safe and stable, they may yell at someone or become highly defensive on certain points of view. They may participate in non-christian activities that involve other spirits, such as freemasonry. A Freemason “Christian” does not talk about the Holy Spirit. It is really sad. We are not privy most of the time as to how these things develop in a person’s life. We do have witness from the Holy Spirit and a great gift given to all who are born of the Spirit, which is discernment. (Discernment is a separate topic – e.g. are we discerning something or are we imagining from the stubbornness of the self?) If we do discern something crucial from the Lord, there will be others to whom it does not matter at all, so people do not pick up on it while you do.
For example, it is a critical choice and turning point in a person’s life if they do not know Jesus, only know about him and what they think he did and represents today, and then make the decision to have a “religious” life. This choice is a different dynamic for the rest of their life as compared to choosing to know Jesus. The same applies to someone who is impressed by Jesus but sees it all as mythology.
These approaches are not new. However, if we have a Church leader who impacts thousands of people’s lives, but their public confession confirms a religious choice rather than a choice for Jesus, we will see odd decisions being initiated and supported within the Church as an institution. To propagate these choices we see politics, threat, punishment and other tactics and corruptions come into play. For instance, only posting a person to a place of “authority” who holds the same views and agrees in contract to carry them out. Most people do not see what goes on behind the scenes, or are not questioning if they are troubled. Is it any wonder a number of the congregation who do follow Jesus are at some point genuinely harmed and upset, finding disbelief at how they are being treated. My experience is that it takes significant events on our life to overcome such trauma. Just because someone is in a high position does not mean they follow Jesus. I have seen these people enact threats. This does not mean the Lord asks a person or family to leave a Church and go to another, but it may.
We do not know exactly why some people are able to be removed from bad situations. Those who do are under the Lord’s protection and provision because other people and situations will unfold in their life to support their spiritual development at the right times and places. This is a complex issue. Some of the content on this website aims to address such problems.
Is it therefore offensive and non-acceptable to discuss these topics? If we do not let the lamp show its light on the mantle, darkness continues its way. Do we want to know truth or not? It is acceptable to present things of truth, (Jesus did all the time) but unfortunately the Internet does not make it possible to refrain or state content according to the situation with each person. The sense of things has to come back to each person and if something conveyed is helpful. We can pray for others around us to help as needed so that there is not fear or non-resolution. We are not here to present all things, and some topics are not presented.

It may help some who are learning aspects of the content who are glad to see perspectives others consider that may assist in your own validation.
